Hatha Yoga

These classes are so much more than simply learning exercises, they are about creating a healthier lifestyle. There are many benefits to regular Yoga practice - Improve posture and in doing so reduce back pain. Improve your overall muscular strength and flexibility. This improves muscle tone and helps to aid weight loss, especially when practiced alongside a healthy balanced diet.
Learn to relax and de-stress with breathing and relaxation techniques. This can overall improve mental health and help to deal with the stress and anxiety everyday life.
Ultimately we want you to enjoy your practice and leave the class with an overall sense of calm and wellness - feel good about yourself!

Pilates
Pilates is more and more recommended by health practitioners and sports coaches to understand the importance of posture control and core stability.
Pilates targets the deep postural muscles of the abdomen and spine to improve central core stability and posture. It is a mindful technique which requires concentration and focus upon the method to ensure the best possible result.
Foxy Pilates suits all ages and fitness levels and is particularly beneficial for those with back pain, poor postures, sports injuries, arthritis, stress related illness and before and after pregnancy, neurological conditions and mental health conditions.
It is a method that has been adopted by sports men and women, musicians, dancers and will help those who do more sedentary office work to prevent and recover from injury. Pilates helps to build strength, stability, muscle balance and postural control.
The key principles of the pilates method are concentration, centering, breathing, isolation, routine, precision, control and flowing movement.

Beginners welcome!
All equipment is provided. You are more than welcome to bring your own mat if your prefer.
